The other day I picked up a box of Monarch each of 9mm 124 and 40sw 180. They were pretty cheap and I thought I'd add 'em to my stock. I've shot Monarch before and they did good so I thought I did ok. When I got home I went to YouTube but didn't see any hollow point gel tests and then noticed the hollow points on these rounds. Weird.
I remembered that the headstamp says PPU and that's Prvi Partizan so I looked up PPU and found some tests. The hollow points looks the same so these should tell me how they'll do.
Very badly. Jacket separations and no expansions. Well, I guess I got some range fodder for the next trip.
