Does anyone know what is required for CHL Instructor License? Thanks.

1. Hold a current pistol instructor cert. NRA, TCLOE, Security, etc.
2. Register for class with DPS and pay $100 fee ....wait for class assignment after passing background check.
3. Go to Georgetown and take 3.5 day course, pass written exam
4. Go to DPS range and pass proficiency shooting exam (2).... (both Semi and Revolver)
5. Create your class curriculum using DPS provided guide.
6. Start teaching!
