Ultrasonic cleaners and Glock polymer

Started to do some major disassembly and cleaning today and hit a bit of a bump. I recently began using my Lyman ultrasonic cleaner for some things, but am a bit unsure of the following.

I was thinking about putting the trigger assembly into the cleaner, but was worried about the plastic that is part of it. For the smaller G30, the same goes for the entire lower. It will fit in the cleaner, but is that okay? The plastic with the trigger group seems a little different from the frame. Is it? Oh, there's also some plastic around the striker assembly. Same question.

The solution I'm using is the Lyman solution for gun parts at about a 40:1 mix with distilled water, so not very strong.

I've also heard that putting the slide in is not good for the sights. I don't need to put the slide in since it's so easy to clean anyway.

I have to report that after WTR's response and a sort of epiphany I decided to forge ahead and put everything except the lower and the slide into the cleaner. The epiphany was when I realized that the basket everything goes into to be dipped into the cleaner is also plastic. Duh, how harmful could it be when using the same brand cleaner recommended as the cleaner itself. Everything came out nice and clean and shiny. Really liking this cleaner so far. That was with the full sized Glock. After dinner, I'll put the entire subcompact in after only field stripping. If anything happens to the sights it'll only give me a better excuse to try that XS-big dot sight.

I have a larger Sonic tank used for small to large motorcycle and car parts, but does great on gun parts as well.
I have cleaned XD, XDM, XDs in that tank,,,,, once, not as a plan, my daily carry stayed in the tank over night. So 60 min with the sonic on, tank solution heated to 60c, stayed in tank for about 15 hours.

No detrimental effects I have seen so far.

Another after action report for ya'll.

After taking the slide off, but not apart except for the barrel and recoil spring, I placed those three things and the entire lower into the cleaner. This might not be a fair comparison yet because I just shot the little G30SF at a match last weekend and still hadn't cleaned it yet. Suffice to say, I now have to change the solution in my cleaner after only 3-4 cycles. The 30SF was definitely not as clean as the completely disassembled 21SF sans polymer lower. Curiosity got the better of me and after cleaning and rinsing the 30SF I decided to completely disassemble it to see how it fared. Cleaner, but not nearly as much. It's hard to tell, though, since it was probably dirtier to begin with.

I was able to put them both back together without any extra parts lying around. Both seemed to function properly as much as I can tell without actually firing them. Next range trip won't be until next weekend for a 5-stand match. I'll take these with me and try them out before the match.

Just make sure you have a solvent to mix with the water that is designed for gun parts. Mine can also do spent brass casing, but with a different solvent. I don't know if one is okay for both only not as effective and one is only okay for one, but I have both solvents when I want to get around cleaning cases to try reloading. That's what I bought the cleaner for in the first place, but haven't gotten around to that yet. However, since the BCG is all metal and should be coated or stainless or whatever, it will be fine. Someone, please correct me here if I'm wrong. I'm pretty new to ultrasonic cleaners.
