true....but when people do that (tap on the side of your hip) they are usually (even if they are just fooling around) looking for a gun. I've had people do that to me in church (most people of my age group don't wear suites or even sport coat and ties anymore for church) just fooling around before.
Legally, I'm sure I'd be fine and not at fault...but it just changes things among people when they know "hey that guy carries a gun."

If that was somebody fooling around, it wouldn't surprise me if their was a puddle of tee tee next to me where he was walking by while tapping me.
I can just hear it now, next time I come to a Sunday School party or event, whoever our host is pulls me aside "hey man, some people are sayin' that you carry a gun? Well, that's cool and all if you do for me, but some people are concerned about it, if you do have got one on I'd rather you leave it out in your car dude."
