You can have only one...

Post by rmoraes »

B"H
Dear friends, I'd like you imput. Suppose you may only buy one gun, and only one per person, to defend your family and home, and be the only gun you can carry, including open carry. Which one Y'll buy?
As a friend living and carring in Israel told me, that's his scenario. I'm btw PS90 for the size and punch, or a Glock 23.

I'd be happy to suggest any number of guns based on answers to some more questions. First, what guns / chamberings are available in that market and what is the relative parts/aftermarket availability? Second, is there an option of concealed carry, and would that option be explored regularly? Third, what is the public perception of open carry in that locale (outside of military/law enforcement personnel)? Last, is it one gun per household, per person or what, and is this per year or ever?

With the parameters as stated, there are LOTS of reasonable options -- at least here in Texas.

I'm going glock 21 every time. harder to conceal but who cares. I'm just not near as comfortable with a 9mm.

AR15 if we are talking guns in general and not specifically handguns. Mainly because they are so common and the ammo is easy to find.

Exactly!

But seriously, if I could only have one, I would pick the Glock 27 over the 23, to better conceal.
