Robbery story
Well, today my father and I were talking with our next door neighbor, and she said that a close friend of hers was robbed at gunpoint earlier this week as she was leaving her place of work about 9-9:30pm after closing it for the night. My neighbor is understandibly upset about this (and so, presumably, is her friend who was robbed) and has decided she will move as soon as possible. For those of you who live in Houston, this happened in NW Houston in the strip center at the intersection of Jones and Grant where the micky d's is being rebuilt.

From what I've read, the influx of Katrina refugees has only made things worse . . . certainly, some got jobs and are contributing to society, but it would seem a fair number of undesirables have decided to stay on and cause trouble . . . too bad.Venus Pax wrote:I don't know of any part of the Houston area that can be considered safe. . .
