Checked the plan's and my cardiologist and Baylor Heart hospital were not listed. Since this is very important for me, we checked on other plans and the only one with my preferred doctors is Baylor Scott and White, but my primary doctor and all the other area hospitals are not on the plan.

its a big mess
If you stay with the plan you will probably not be reimbursed for any expenses if you go outside the plan, probably have a huge deductible that won't cover anything (not even $4 WM drugs), and have to use the doctor they assign to you as your gatekeeper ( I hate to say this but the doctors that have signed this are usually the bottom of the barrel docs-use caution here). See if you can find a United Health Care ( I like but not cheap) or possible Aetna plan in your area. This is further proof that having an insurance plan does not mean you can get health care.

I keep my libtard "acquaintances" to 'keep my enemy closer' sort of deal. I'm not really friends with anyone overtly liberal, but some people I know from HS and such that I was once friends with have started to show their overly left leaning views. I thought about unfriending them, but I like to see what kind of stupidity they are buying into and as someone else said, I'll let them unfriend me after I get to educate them on conservatism.

"rlol" I was thinking the same thing!

I don't have any liberal friends, just a few liberal relatives and my kids friends have some liberal parents however. I do my best to avoid them because when the discussion turns to nonsense I just can't help but speak my mind.

I can recall two dinner parties that didn't go over well. I said what I had to say, gathered up the wife and kids and left. You can't argue with stupid.

My wife has returned to the scene of the crime with the kids but not me and the few times we were invited to back I politely made up an excuse not to go.

You need to really work on not being so introverted. Don't hold back. Tell us how your really feel.

Most (though not all) of my extended family is rather liberal. I don't post political stuff much, and following a recent exchange between myself and two of my cousins regarding gun control, all but one of them have either mostly stopped* posting political stuff or changed their posting settings so I don't see those posts (apparently they don't like it when I prove them wrong).

I don't knowingly have any liberal "Friends" though I communicate through FB and other means with others in my profession who do have liberal leanings through to almost total Libtards. The one I am aware of who is a total Libtard doesn't want to hear from me. He can't stand the heat.

I have a couple of first cousins (female) whom I love dearly but can't stand politically. Even their own brothers think that they are political idiots.
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

I've run into several who love Obamacare and even say they know folks who have it and love it. But they, themselves, do not have it. Surprise.

Exactly. Single payer systems are a treatment for the problem, not the cure. Insurance companies need to quite down and sit in the side line while action is taken to reduce the costs of healthcare. $2,500 for a simple ER visit is the problem.
The biggest single expense any doctor or hospital has is the cost of doing all of the government mandated paperwork. And, of course, it has to be the most convoluted mess imaginable and mistakes are not tolerated.

The first big step in controlling the cost of healthcare would be to minimize government interference.

I have recounted this before but not long ago I was at my Sister in laws with my spouse and we were all sitting around the table. I don't hide my feelings and we are all on "the Facebook" so she knows how I feel. She was going on and on about guns and how terrible they are and how she could never be near one as they would just send her over the edge. So I asked was it one kind of gun in particular... the big black scary ones or the hunting rifle? She replied with disgust all of them I just couldn't be around them. So I said oh like this one and pulled out H&K USP that I was carrying and plopped it on the table . Her eyes got as big as dinner plates and not a word was said. Five adults sat there and stared at that gun. The air crackled with electricity and it felt like the oxygen had been sucked out of the room. I counted in my head about 10 seconds and then picked it and put it back IWB and nothing has ever been said about guns again. Of course most times I am over there now things are pretty quiet. Just the way I like it!

Oh and her husband met me the next week and said Thank You. She never would shut up about guns.

Boy did I catch it when we got home. Worth every moment!

I use to have a very liberal acquaintance and neighbor but then I taught him to shoot and he bought my XD40 for home defense. He is still liberal but he continues to connect with his hidden conservative side the more he hangs out with me.

Anyone who tells me they are a Liberal, I tell them to let me know how that turns out for them.

I have no progressive liberal friends. I do have some progressive liberal acquaintances.
