Two new shooters! My grand daughters pretty in pink.

Post by puma guy »

Two new additions to the shooter's club. We had early Christmas last weekend and Paw Paw (No, not that Paw Paw; this Paw Paw puma guy) got a pink rifle for two of my grand daughters after asking their dad if it was OK. They could hardly wait to get back to their home in the Hill Country to try it out.
The oldest (pony tail) will be 8 in January and the younger will be 7 in March. Here they are with their dad - first time to ever shoot and not too shabby, Their brother (3 in May) will have to wait a while.

That is fantastic!! I'll bet they loved every minute of it!

I've got a granddaughter that is 13, but because her mother is so anti-gun, I do not dare try to take her shooting or give her a .22 rifle for fear of being cut off from all contact.

Looks like everyone in the photos had a great Christmas!!

I am jealous. My granddaughter is two. I am already planning her first gun. I bought her mom a gun when she was nine.

This is great! The girls have a good Paw Paw. I started out my grandson with a replica SA handgun and drilling him on safety, handling, eye and ear protection as a habit, etc. He is 18 now and shoots better than I do at the range.
Life is good.

I take my 9 year old grandson shooting all the time. He shoots a Browning Silhouette 22lr with a red dot and due to the weight of the gun he uses a rest. I insist though that he wear shooting glasses and hearing protection at all times. Please start them young with proper safety. And of course they need to start young.

It's always good to see the young ones being raised right. Merry Christmas!
