Yeah.... that's what I was afraid of. Coming up on a month now, hopefully halfway there. Maybe..

Been able to keep my checking of the DPS website to about once a week, but man this is dragging. Still no change.

Haven't called yet, but as I'm now past 30 days was thinking I'd call today.

I'm sure they're swamped but...

Called today, was told my CHL100 hasn't been entered in to the system yet... over a month in and background check hasn't even been started.

Asked why it's taking so long to enter paperwork and he said because they have literally hundreds of thousands of applications currently.

Thanks DPS. Glad my life isn't depending on you.

...now the wait. I'm guessing 4-5 weeks based on what I've read here lately.

Time to gun shop maybe? :anamatedbanana

Edit: Dec. 14th confirmation of receipt of supporting documents, email says to allow up to 6 weeks. :/
MEAdams, yours & mine are almost the same, Dec 17th was my last item sent with Dec 21st email confirmation, so if you'd keep us updated & I will do the same.

Based on what I've read I think everyone should go into this prepared to wait 60 days with no feedback from DPS.
