texas3006 says it isn't posted except during sporting events. So I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I can't see where this movie would be Muslim friendly, it could be a target.

I called Jerry World and they said no guns at all for the movie tonight. She also added that she has had lots of phone calls asking this question.

The property is owned by the city of Arlington. Thet can't exclude CC except as provided for by statute. That doesn't mean they won't try, but, I don't think they can do so legally.. Not certain about that however.

Can the city of Arlington over ride the decision?

The City cannot prohibit CC except as provided by statute....
The Stadium is on City property and similarly cannot prohibit CC except as provided by statute.
As I understand it, Cowboys games, HS Football games, College Games are all prohibited by statute, but a movie premier is not a prohibited event.

First question is.... Is it worth the hassle to try to explain that to the Security guard at the door? Clearly not.
Second question is.... Is there something I/we can do to address this before 5:00 tonight.?

PC §30.06. TRESPASS BY HOLDER OF LICENSE TO CARRY CONCEALED HANDGUN.

(e) It is an exception to the application of this section that the property on which the license holder carries a handgun is owned or leased by a governmental entity and is not a premises or other place on which the license holder is prohibited from carrying the handgun under Section 46.03 or 46.035.

Anyone know the email address for the City Attorney in Arlington?

I don't think mailing a letter will be fast enough  and a phone call doesn't provide any documentation...

I sent an email to the City Attorney.
Hopefully I guessed the email address correctly. Wasn't rejected or bounced, so, hopefully I got it right.

Went to ticket master. It appears there are no more seats left.

Up there now. They have both 30.06 & 30.07 signs attached to the fences near the entrances. Also a portable one near where the employees are going in.

City owned property or not they seem fairly confident if they have permanent signs up. Don't know about regular folks but they were wanding the workers as they went in.

1. I got wanded
2. I did not get a reply from the City Attorney.
3. They didn't check tickets... anyone was welcome.
4. The movie was... fantastic. Best movie I've seen in a long time.
5. I'd estimate 35,000 in attendance... but.. I couldn't see all the way up from where I was sitting. They filled one side of the stadium, I believe.
6. Oz, Tanto and Tig were in attendance, as were 3 MoH recipients, Rob O'Neill and "more than 50 SEALs" (according to the MC). It was an incredibly patriotic crowd and a great way to experience the movie. I'm very glad I went.

Now I have to get back to work and catch up on the stuff I should have been doing this afternoon.

Going to verify everything RoyGBiv said. Was wanded on entering, I never saw anyone's tickets checked, and the movie was amazing. They filled up about 40% of the stadium I'd say, however many people that would be. I did get better seats, but I got up there early. Also had a meal beforehand at Saltgrass across 30. Was a good evening all around.
