Well, I believe carrying a G19 with a fully loaded spare may not be enough, but 6, puh-leeze...(or 7/8 aint enough either)

Overkill. You are not the police. And the reason for the pistol is personal DEFENSE. You sound like you are on offense. 6 is fine.

Point is, people should carry what they feel comfortable with. 5,6 or 18, whatever. If you want 6, then carry six. I suspect however you don't carry anything so I'll leave it at that.

I carry 6, well I also carry 4 speed loaders and 4 speed strips as well. That is 6x9, that works doesn't it? I have carried wheels so long I hit far better with them than any semi auto I have ever shot. Well except a $4000 custom .45 I couldn't afford but it was about equal. I never have felt under gunned but I watch my surroundings and don't go to places I shouldn't. It works.

O.K., I take your response (or lack thereof) as yes, you want to limit LTC/CHLers limited to carry a maximum of 6 rounds.

Me too.I carry at least 1spare mag for every weapon I carry.Then again,I always carry a backup gun.To many factors to count not to have plenty.RULE 1:Always have a gun.RULE 2:Always carry a backup.Rule 3:Always carry enough ammo for rule 1&2.
