Kimber K6s Revolver

Not seeing any reason here to pay more for this than a S&W or a Ruger. Well, one extra round. Then again while it's on a bigger frame a S&W 327 hold 8 rounds.

Does it have a break in period like other kimbers?

Filling the role of the long discontinued D-frame Colt revolvers, it seems, though they did not have a shrouded hammer unless you added an accessory.

I like the Colt DA revolvers, like the Python and Detective Special.
I don't like shrouded hammers, but I am glad to see a new model from a company like Kimber.
At least they are trying something different.
I really hope it's good quality and is a success.

I like the looks of it, and I like having the extra round. If it is offered at a pretty good price, I might have to really consider it.

Most Kimbers are well above the $1000 mark though. I could get two Rugers or two J-frames for that cost.

I've been shopping for a little wheel gun, this might fit in with my 3" Kimber. I'm seeing a $900 MSRP, which feels high but should come down a little at street pricing.

Gotta choose between this and an AR...

Our analog to the Kimber is this gun, thanks to Doc540.

I wish Kimber success. 20% more capacity than similar sized guns from Ruger and S&W, even if that is just one round, might be the difference you need.

Several in hand pictures on the TFB site. Looks much better than the pre-release photo I'd seen earlier.

It looks as big or bigger than my Ruger Security Six, but it does look better here than in the other pics.

I like the looks of it, but $900 seems awfully steep.

Add (roughly speaking) $100.00 and buy 2, yes 2 Glocks, but wait, that's not all.

You can get the Ronco salad shooter at no extra charge.

Such a deal!

Does anyone know if this is made in the USA by Kimber or some sort of import?

Aren't all Kimbers made in Yonkers, NY?
