Remington 1858 Army Conversion

Post by SC1903A3 »

Wife told me to pull the trigger. Before she could change her mind I ordered it through Gander mountain. Estimated delivery date to my local store is the 27th. I've been in love with this pistol since I saw Errol Flynn using it in one of his old movies. In 45 long colt of course.

Beautiful gun! The conversion from cap & ball to metallic cartridge in one pistol has always intrigued me. A true rubicon advancing firearms history. Well done! :tiphat:

1858's are awesome! I have 2 44's without the conversions. They're fun to shoot, highly accurate and I use them to slow down my family when they start looting the stored ammo a little too deep.
