In looking at the various documents online, the closest I see listed to my model is the EOTech EXPS3-0. I'm guessing this is basically the same as my model and therefore mine is affected?
As far as I can tell they're all affected. I chose to pursue the return and am now wrestling with what I want as a replacement.

They are accepting returns no questions asked but I've not heard of anyone actually receiving their refund yet. Time will tell how long it takes before they actually mail a check.

There's also a class action suit in the works. Might want to check in there as well...
Well this is very disappointing :cryin I've always loved the reticle on the EOTech's and finally got one only to have this happen. Any idea how long they will have the return available? I haven't had a chance to take it out to the range yet and like to do so before I decide on returning it or not (I'd like to experience the problem myself).

I sent mine in awhile back, received a confirmation, and a week or so an e-mail saying:
Your product has been received and reviewed by EOTech and your refund is being processed. You will be updated by e-mail in the near future regarding check processing.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Thanks ELB and JALLEN for those informative posts! :tiphat:

I am planning to keep my EOTech after reading that! YMMV.

I sent mine back in mid December. According to UPS it was received on December 26th. On January 15th I got the same email stating that I will be hearing back in the near future. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get the refund. I plan on getting an ACOG as a replacement.

I've got an EoTech I bought about 7 years ago. Don't have the original packaging, and can't spot a model number or serial number on the unit. Are those numbers underneath the sight? Do you have to take the sight off of the rifle to find them?
Do what you say you're gonna do.
