Renowned economist and author John Lott (More Guns, Less Crime: Understanding Crime and Gun-Control Laws and The Bias Against Guns: Why Almost Everything You've Heard About Gun Control is Wrong) will be doing a book signing on Wednesday, August 8, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., at the Galleria Barnes and Noble in Houston. The store is located at 5000 Westheimer Road, Suite 100, in Houston. Be sure to bring your Second Amendment books to be autographed!

Nice guy. Stereotypical disheveled college professor type. Said he was in town to give a presentation for the Houston Gun Collectors Association.

Got a autographed copy of "Freedomnomics". That was the only book he had on the table.

The store was pretty empty.
