Well, I got a surprise in the mail today. I got an official letter from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of Utah that will serve as my temporary concealed firearm permit. It goes on to say that my standard permit card will be forthcoming. It doesn't say how long I will have to wait for the card, but does say the letter is good until September 30, 2007 OR until I get my laminated permit card.

"Don't you see the raised seal???"
"Well, it was there when I got it!!!"
"See, it feels a little bumpy there in the corner, doesn't it!"

The letter states that Utah affirms its validity, and full power and authority and so on and so forth, blah blah blah...BrassMonkey wrote:I thought statutoraly(sp?), an out of state could not be issues a temp license?
