Army veteran fired from CVS after trying to stop robbery

Post by parabelum »

"When two suspects tried robbing a Maryland CVS on Friday, Army veteran Joe Morici sprang into action.

And it cost him his job.

Morici, who served seven years in the Army, including a stint in Afghanistan, was fired from his management job at a Beltsville CVS because he intervened and tried to catch the men, FOX5 reported."

awww geeeeez edith......I really wish these companies would shove that passive aggressive stuff directly up their....... this is ridiculous that they hold managers responsible for the loss but in the same breath tell them to not do anything as is pacifistic acts will make the BG go away and just leave us alone, it doesn't and we all know that but .....it make me very angry when stooooopid causes good people to be unfairly persecuted (yes I meant persecuted)

It sucks that he got fired because he needs a job, but I wouldn't want to work for a company that has those stupid rules anyway. Hopefully he gets on with the local PD. (according to the video, he put in an application with the local PD after getting fired from CVS). Good job sir! :patriot:

Having been a business owner I can understand the reasoning for the let em go policy, but it sucks to expect a man to disregard his experience knowledge and training in every situation IMHO.

True.

One day when unicorns dance through the sky over rainbows, those who do the the wrong thing will always lose.
