How long will the process take?

I believe it takes about 6 months; sure hope I can pass the English exam because I find it really hard to spell like an American ;)

I had planned on buying a Vortex 4-16x50 FFP mrad scope with my rebate - I'm tired of making do with lower-quality scopes and wanted some good glass for a change.

However, I've changed my mind - I'm going to use the money to apply for US citizenship and feel quite good about it. The scope will have to wait till whenever - this is more important

Best of luck, Andy, for a speedy completion of the process. I shudder to think that any test for citizenship might deny someone for simple spelling errors -- particularly if the "error" in question is an accepted spelling elsewhere in the world. I am sure it'll end up being a non-issue.
