You might as well show your LTC with your drivers license because they are forever linked in the DPS database. If you don't and the officer checks your license they will probably wonder why you didn't show your LTC. While commuting every day to work I keep my pistol in the glove box. If I am traveling I carry it, concealed, in a holster on my belt. An LTC does not allow you to leave a handgun visible in your vehicle.
