My brothers and myself might just have a weird/twisted sense of humor, but we've always gotten a kick out of the Wilford Brimley Diabetes memes and remixed videos.
Personal favorite is probably the Ice Ice Baby remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i6HkV_jO0o
(Possible NSFW - doesn't say actual bad words, but is cut in such a way to sound that way... At the very least watch with head phones on)
Anyone else got a favorite one of these ? Am I alone in my depravity ?
(Its a slow Friday at work, so I apologize if this is found to be in poor taste)

Non-meme movie plug. "Absence of Malice" 1981. After 90 minutes of silly, Sally and Paul circling one another, Wilford shows up with a court reporter, a marshal and briefcase full of whoop behind.

I've wondered on occasion if the batfe uses the film as their playbook?!
imkopaka I am a Type II controlled with diet and exercise (so far). And I like the fact that you found the video funny as well. Heck, if we can't laugh at at ourselves and the situations we find ourselves in life would be much more difficult. I am also a fan of Mr. Brimley's acting and his personality in general.
Pariah3j here is one for you. A bit twisted and definitely four letter language. I was sent this by my brother, a medical professional, who was wondering if the person seemed familiar since I am a first responder in a rural county.
Second warning: Harsh language and stereotyping are involved. Search YouTube for the following....

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

I think the story was well written. I think the author had some good insight into the workings of a newspaper and this type of court case.
The screenplay was written by Kurt Luedtke for which he was nominated for an academy award.
Before becoming a screenwriter, Luedtke was a newspaper reporter and executive editor of the Detroit Free Press.
Tagline: Suppose you picked up this morning's newspaper and your life was a front page headline... And everything they said was accurate... But none of it was true?
Not many realize I used to get calls to do Wilford Brimley's nude scenes as a body double. I haven't had many calls since I started losing weight, down about 60 lbs. now. Maybe he doesn't get many parts with nude scenes these days, either.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
