Need a good place to eat in Mesquite

Post by troglodyte »

My wife and I will be in the DFW area next week and will be staying the night in Mesquite. We're looking for a good local hole-in-the-wall for supper. Mexican or American, maybe BBQ. Any suggestions are appreciated. :tiphat:

It might be helpful to know what part of Mesquite. It's a long, skinny city: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Mesqu ... 96.5991593

Some of the worst traffic in the Metromess goes through Mesquite.

There's a McDonalds, Denny's and Taco Cabana right there at Beltline & 80; what more do you need?? "rlol"

OK, for a little more 'local' stuff, there are a few right down Beltline at E. Davis like Mesquite BBQ, Country Burger (good hamburgers), and Joe's Pizza and Pasta.

Not exactly "hole in the wall", but there are several nice restaurants not too far away.

Go North on Beltline & Turn left on Town East Blvd. After you cross under I-635, turn right at Towne Crossing Blvd. It'll be the first light and you will swear you're turning into a shopping center (you are ;-) ) Keep right and you will find Razzoo's, Olive Garden, and I don't know what else.

That total drive is about 4 miles.
