I wrote my state rep Ron Simmons 6/22, received a response from his office via email 6/24. In the response it stated they contacted DPS on my behalf and I should have my LTC finished Monday 6/27. This morning 6/28 I logged in and I'm just pending print !!!!

I was surprised that they updated today. I had my application in the same day as yours. At 8pm yesterday I was still waiting on background. Looked about an hour ago and noticed I had updated to Print Pending. Pretty cool.

And now we wait. Wife has everything submitted same as above, but will do prints on 6/24. Will be interested to see the difference in wait times.

I hadn't been checking every day, since I didn't expect movement this quickly, but as of 7/5/2016, I'm "Print Pending." So 13 days, only 7 of which were actual business days. Wife's app shows the same status.

16 days (including a holiday weekend)

  6-28 - Prints appointment
  7-1 - Prints received
  7-3 - Prints approved

Now I'm stuck on

• Background Check : Under review
  License To Carry A Handgun : Print pending completion of application review

That week from my appointment with prints and the prints being approved was perhaps the longest week of my life.
These two days that I've been stuck with just the background check has been even longer.

Hang in there people, I feel your pain.

14 calendar days from confirmation to mailed, 9 business days. Hard to complain about that turnaround time.

Wow!

Congrats to the guys who are getting theirs around (or less than) a couple of weeks.

Although I am only on day 38, it is entirely frustrating. It's almost like the DPS is dedicating most resources to those filed since 6-5 or so and letting whoever is left over to clean up the older ones.

It is beginning to feel like those of us that filed before 6-1 naively got in to that "Express Lane" at the grocery store that is anything BUT that.
