Post by Flightmare »

This bothers me, but being in Commiefornia, I can't say it surprises me.

“Our foremost concern was whether the flag could create a safety risk for emergency responders due to extremists targeting the fire engine or for people following the fire engine and not being able to see the warning lights,” the chief wrote.

He also said the fire department had to “look at the big picture.”

“How is this perceived by not only the public, but also those that would seek to do harm to those in public safety?” he wrote. “Some feel the flag is an attempt to incite further violence against those who, to our very core, have dedicated our lives to protecting all lives.”

What a bunch of hogwash. A symbol of sympathy and solidarity is going to incite violence? Did he forbid them from flying the flags in front of the station at half mast too? And missing the warning lights? Seriously? If you miss the giant red fire engine in front of you, a flashing light isn't going to change that.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

Perhaps in the same way the US flag is offensive to some people who may or may not be here legally, the thin blue line flag is offensive to BLM? Seems like a very twisted logic to get to that point.

:iagree: :txflag: :patriot:

I don't know why but, I am still surprised by how many people in our neighboorhood still ask what our flag means. Sad really.
