Good Dove huntin deals at academy

Post by cmgee67 »

Went in to academy this evening to pick up a new camo t shirt for dove/teal season this year because I have lost 100lbs and my old ones don't fit in the least and I was pleased to find that I found some game winner brand t shirts that feel just like under armor for 12$ and i also picked up a new shell-dove belt for 8$. They had some good deals on vests and mojos as well. Just thought I'd pass the info along! Stay safe and carry on!

I've been picking up a few things here and there getting ready for dove season as well from Academy. Even went home with almost 700 rounds of ammo and didn't get questioned :smilelol5:

Can't wait to spend some quality time with my husband and my Benelli Nova.

Have they put their MSR's (aka AR-15's) back on display? Maybe I'll open carry there today and find out...

No they havnt but I have open carried there several times. In fact in their holster section there are two signs, one for concealed carry, and one for open carry

The one in Burleson has a couple sitting on the floor behind the counter, but none in the display racks. Also very little 223 ammo at all, and no 5.56. they had signs saying that you could order it and it would be shipped for free.
I declined the offer.
