I think it is safe to say that you'll never find me underneath an oil tanker that is sliding by just over my head.......in OR out of the water!!! :lol:

I've been underneath my last ship for sonar transducer inspection when it was drydocked. Granted, it was nowhere near as large as a tanker, only 225 ft long and 2,000 tons. But I will say that I didn't particularly like the experience knowing that I was standing under 4 million pounds of steel. Only spent as much time as needed for the inspection and didn't waste any time getting out from underneath the ship. Very eerie feeling.

Yeah I didn't like all of the bang boom clack clack before the thing even started moving... No thank you is right!
