If there are children involved, I would be very hesitant to remarry. I have seen blended marriages succeed and I have seen disasters were children were used as pawns by both parties. I have also seen ex spouses try to sabotage the new marriage ( usually using the poor kids). So frankly, I would be very cautious.

"Yes me writing because I'm sad and it's not fair to ask you to try to figure out the quagmire that is the emotions of the female heart and mind."

Then proceeded with 5 paragraphs explaining exactly what was wrong (in short that I miss him) and how much I love him.

Yeah I get a lot of those also, men are very simple creatures, if we aren't talking, it's because we have nothing to say, we are not mad, we are not brooding, and we don't know you want us to say something, and we sure don't know what we are supposed to say. We are capable of carrying on a long conversation, but we have trouble changing directions in the middle of it because our significant other, "thought" of something else and left us in the dark. We are linear thinkers, and follow a point to a logical conclusion, women are circular thinkers and may eventually get back the point, but there will be a lot of detours.
