For me, it was to have one CC gun and one dedicated range, training/practice gun, but share holsters and gear. It started when I had only cheaper CC guns and didn't want to put high round counts on the actual CC gun I had to trust. I can set up malfunctions and do lots of range work and never worry about it. If I only have a short time, I can still shoot and not have to clean it until later or next day. And when I finish my range work, the CC gun goes back into the holster, clean and ready.Soccerdad1995 wrote:I'm curious as to why you want to have duplicates
