I know that Texas has a great chapter 9 penal code, which strives to protect victims from both civil and criminal prosecution and subsequent legal costs.
For those of you with experience in a real self defense situation with or without insurance, what happened?
Did your insurance save you money?
If you didn't have insurance, did chapter 9 protect you?

Let's just hope they don't make insurance mandatory like with automobiles. Maybe it's because automobiles kill more people than guns.
