friend missing in the Alvin TX area....

This is a very good friend of mine and of many of my friends..... if yall could keep an eye out, or share i would greatly appreciate it.


We want to get information spread across the country, share it everywhere you can. Other forums, facebook, instagram, whatever you can. Ask people to print it and put it up at work, school, wherever it may be seen. It may help.

Our friend Forrest has been battling mental illness. He had a break 15 months ago and was hospitalized at that time. At that time, he was arrested while in a manic state, knocking on doors looking for his brother (who passed away over 10 years ago). He refused to take any traditional medicine, and self medicated by smoking the green. Last week, he stopped it cold turkey. He knew his best friend would be coming by about three on tuesday, and the neighbor's cameras caught him leaving right before his friend got there, and then passing by at a jog a few minutes after. He destroyed his laptop and removed the hard drive so that his search history couldnt be traced. He's lilely bi-polar, and may be hearing voices. There was some ramblings of of a plan or goal that he was trying to figure out, and a way to slip away may have been it.

There are quite a few possibilities we've looked into. He was last seen on the camera, blue shorts, no shirt, slip on shoes, headed away from the bayou. We dont know how much or how little this was planned, he may have had a stash bag somewhere. Forrest has been writing non stop, and has stacks of notebooks. Some are songs, poetry, and random ramblings. The family has been going through to see if there is anything to go on, and so far, theres nothing to be definite about. He may have hopped a train, bus, etc. He was writing about several bayou areas, and train tracks, and the bay. He may be headed towards Matagorda Bay area. He may be headed to Colorado, around his parent's cabins outside of Creede. We dont know, but anything is possible.


His family asked for our help to spread the flyer around, anywhere and everywhere. His next door neighbor stopped us in the street saturday night asking about what was going on, even though the SAR teams have been there all week. Some people arent on Facebook, dont watch the news, etc. He may be traveling, so anywhere and everywhere. If you're a member of other forums, post it up there. If anyone is on Texas Hunting Forums or the like, post it up. Ask people to check game cameras. We all know Forrest is a smart, resourceful guy. He's out there somewhere, and needs some mental help.

Sounds to me that the guy has decided to live off the grid. Does he possess any primitive or survival skills? Does he have weapons or tools with him?
