Sun Optics CD13RRG Reflex Sight

Post by Abraham »

I just mounted this sight on my new S&W M&P 15-22.

Tomorrow, I sight it in.

Until then, I have to say I love it. Tomorrow will be the real test.

I have both red or green and 4 different reticles with 5 brightness settings.

All are crystal clear (though I prefer green) the number 1 setting is completely fine without any need to go up in brightness.

Depending on where you buy it, they cost between $80/$100.00 and I think for the money they're unexpectedly high quality.

I'm too pooped to sight it in as I spent the morning in the hot sun learning how to use my new circular saw. Up to now, I've always used hand saws of one kind or another. Oh wait, I did get a chain saw a few years back for fire wood, but cutting firewood doesn't have to be precise. I'm learning how to use a circular saw for an upcoming cool weather carpentry project. Alright, once again I digress...

Anyone else use a Sun Optics Reflex sight?

Maybe putting the sight on your chain saw will impart a little precision?

But the amount of time you have to hold the trigger, makes it difficult to keep on target.

My saw has a nice laser, I hate it and still just watch the blade.

Jusme

Yes, yes I do. Very helpful.

My circular saw coach is my wife.

I have the coordination and she has the smarts.

Between us, we make a good and quite complete team.
