I have always been partial to the rail gun concept, being able to put a hockey puck sized projectile through a main battle tank is just cool. But I could grow to love a energy weapon!

When you can focus to 1" with 100s Megawatt power you are into something. Get Nuclear powered Nimitz Vessel and the ocean to cool it.
