Cool. I haven't been to any pawn shops since moving to DFW area. Several people have told me it's worth it as you sometimes find great deals.

I get a lot of my firearms from Roy's Pawn in Irving. He has both new and used and some of the best pricing I've found

I might have to check Roy's out. The majority of the pawn shops I've checked around Arlington charge new prices for used guns. However, I'm sure there are deals out there to be had. Just make really sure you know what a good price is for what you're looking at.

OT, that's a really nice looking Mosin. Great find!

Let's go Brandon.

I haven't bought anything from Roy's yet, but have had a few transfers through him. They are very kind and helpful. I was using A-1 right down the street because my friend owned the shop. He sold out and told me to use Roy's and like I said they are a great help.

That's too bad about Arlington, guess I won't shop close to home! Fortunately Roy's isn't too far from where I work.

Congrats on the purchase, that was a great buy in my opinion.
Mosin rifles are very nice to shoot, inexpensive, and fire a very effective 7.62x54 cartridge.

I bought my m44, carbine version of yours, 5-6 years ago and it has never had a single hiccup. Has a fixed bayonet which makes it a "assault rifle" for Kalifornia commies "rlol"

They are nice, in any configuration!

Nice purchase! Moisins are neat guns, and I think ammo is cheap. If you get horrible accuracy, try good ammo, I almost junked one shooting some kind of com-block surplus, then tried some Norma and it was an easy 3"er at 100 yards. Once I knew the gun was good , I went back to shooting the com-block stuff. Order some stripper clips for it, makes it easy to reload. Also, take some ice packs to the range, mine beats my bony shoulder blue and black.

What a sweet gun for a great price!
