Re: New NRA Ad
Good one
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

That ad has the anti-gun nuts hitting the ceiling and wetting themselves. I love it.

Re: New NRA Ad
It's regrettable that such ads need to be run in Texas this season. In previous elections, Texas has been a GOP cinch. Those days seem to be gone.

Might be due to the quality of the GOP candidate this year... ?KLB wrote:It's regrettable that such ads need to be run in Texas this season. In previous elections, Texas has been a GOP cinch. Those days seem to be gone.

Texas has been going through a transformation for some time now. Apathy comes around to bite after a while.KLB wrote:It's regrettable that such ads need to be run in Texas this season. In previous elections, Texas has been a GOP cinch. Those days seem to be gone.

I see a lot of NRA ads like this but mainly on Fox. Kind of like preaching to the choir. I hope they put them out to the more liberal networks too.

I wonder if the mainstream networks would accept them.rotor wrote:I see a lot of NRA ads like this but mainly on Fox. Kind of like preaching to the choir. I hope they put them out to the more liberal networks too.

Not bad but a little tame IMO. Should have had a coroners vehicle and body on a gurney in the last scene for effect. Kinda like LBJ's little girl, daisy and nuke ad from the 60's.

Great ad. I say run it in Texas even if we are a lock. There's always going to be people who need to see it.

I often wonder. In the months before every national election I see a lot of cars with plates from NY, NJ, Ca, and Mn here in rural Texas! This year is no exception.
I know we have a fair amount of refugees from those states coming here, but this pattern seems odd.
