It's kinda like the "noid" thing that you get in a pizza box. It keeps the thin plastic case that Beretta uses from collapsing on the gun. And you can use it on your dresser to put your pocket change into, or use it on your workbench to keep small little gun parts from disappearing into that black hole that every part finds when it rolls off the bench.
