Its been primary about 6 months. My concern is cleaning it from lint dust amd dirt that have made its way under the trigger and into the main housing behind the side plate. Id rather not pull the side plate as i have done this a long time ago with an older j frame and had trouble getting it back together smoothly. Resulted in some slight marring of the side plate anf some marring of the side screws as they broke loose initially.

Can i just spray somthing up in there under the trigger?

What do yall do
I don't seem to have much lint in my pockets. I use a Desantis Nemesis. Maybe the sticky holster attracts more dust and lint.
Have you tried some of that stuff that is used to clean keyboards "Air In a Can" or maybe a shop Vac?

I would highly recommend getting a screwdriver that fits properly. You can blow the revolver out but you can just relocate debris. If you pull the side plate you can insure it's clean and then you can lube the areas that need it very lightly. Pulling the side plate once a year along with blowing it out quarterly should be way more than enough as a guide. I personally would avoid spraying a cleaner inside as it can remove the lubricant at the important areas while not being able to replace it without flooding the area and thereby creating a dirt/dust magnet.

Grace screwdrivers. I have the set and I never believed that they would make a difference but these are the only ones I use on my guns. Nothing better. I would have tried using Dust Off, the air spray from a can, just don't tilt the can and don't preshake it. I would avoid excess use. If you tilt it it would end up freezing the parts, attracting moisture and perhaps rust. I personally would take off the grips if I were worried about enough lint to do any damage.
