I recently got a glock 22 with a hyphenated 6 number serial. no letters, 194-8xx. Someone had tried to grind the right side slide but when I was cleaning the sharpie off I could make out "TX Parks & Wildlife" with "Law Enforcement" right below it. Also had what looked like a factory circular stamp with Gaston Glock Law Enforcement wrapped around it. I already ran the SN with PD and it isnt hot. They had no clue about the weird SN as none of theirs had that. Ideas?
All 3 SN match and it hasnt been tampered with except the grinding. Really not cool, that would have been a cool stamp to have on there.

Re: Weird Glock SN question
You see them for sale periodically. Here was an auction for one http://www.gunauction.com/buy/6902002
They have the hyphenated serial numbers on them
EDIT TO ADD: It probably came from a surplus property sale. They will sell them to FFL's and then they hit the market.
