Yes there is more to life than politics.

The framers warned us about politics and the ability of the populace's ability to vote themselves a paycheck.

Democracies have a limited life. Although we have a representative republic form of government, the masses of teat suckers are able to vote themselves a lifestyle that sustains their lifestyle at the producer's expense.

While they slop at the public trough, award themselves perks like much better than your medical care, free this and that and award themselves a wonderful retirement package for a very abbreviated tenure...

Sheesh. Guys, step outside and take a breath of fresh air. Enjoy the fall weather. Maybe take one of your safe queens out to the range and have a bit of fun. Go have a great meal with some good friends, or worst case, your family.

Those who squirm when hearing political truth I suggest stay wrapped in their warm and cozy blanket of denial.

Now, I've got to make a decision about chopping down a cottonwood tree. I don't want to for a number ofreasons, (I love the sound the leaves makes as the wind blows through them sort of like natures wind chimes) but the roots are so big now and spreading out all over the yard that when I mow over them I feel like I'm running over gigantic boulders complete with leaf litter this time of years that's a huge mess.

When I bought my house over 20 years ago, the front, side and back yards were full of huge cottonwoods (my bad for buying). They are all gone now. They are filthy, nasty, trash trees that spewed cotton all over my property for months every spring and summer, not to mention the huge leaf cleanup ALL YEAR. The cotton got into everything. A/C, garage, house when you opened the door, everywhere! And, the cost of trimming these tall suckers was huge. Had one limb go through my roof one year. Less than my deductible, so it was on me to repair. I am so glad they are gone. However, my neighbor has 5 of them, which means I continue the cleanup no matter what .The roots on some of them have lifted a portion of my driveway too. He refuses to even trim them, are about to destroy his and/or my house when they come down in a storm, but the city could care less. Even though they ban planting them in recent times, they're more interested in the height of your grass and where you store your recycle bin, than safety.
