Optics

Post by gguess66 »

I have a question, I am looking for an optic for my AR. I am looking at either the Aimpoint Pro or the Primary Arms 3x or 5x prism optic. I would like thoughts on each of these. The primary purpose for my AR is for home defense and maybe even some hunting, like hogs or game like that. I don't want to spend more than $450. Thanks

Also consider the 3x Vortex Spitfire Prismatic scope.

I like mine, it is a solid piece of gear in my opinion.

Aimpoint is in total different class than Primary Arms. It is like Comparing Lexus to Mazda.

:iagree: If this is for "Serious" use like home defense then Aimpoint is the way to go. Turn it on and leave it on. Its ready to go when you need it. Just be sure and pratice your sight offset if using it for HD. LOL.

Yup I have to aim a little high. Not a big deal shooting someone center mass, but it definitely exists. Love my aimpoint micro t-2. Didn't realize how much more I enjoy shooting my rifle with it.
