Do You Fast Forward?
We record "The Five" / Bill O'Reilly / Megyn Kelly shows.
When a lefty/liberal speaks and it remains logical we listen.
When the point of view is way out there in lefty-land, arguing something so ridiculous as to annoy us, we/I simply fast forward until they quit speaking and then return to the show.
I do this frequently when Juan Williams starts shouting his lefty harangue or Geraldo Rivera goes hard into lefty-land. Fast forward, ah, no indigestion...
Yes, at one time I listened without fast forwarding and would get massively annoyed, but fast forwarding now saves my blood pressure.
Does anyone else perform this approach when annoying lefties start spouting?

I just don't watch it. I got rid of cable about 2 years ago and just have Internet. MSM is dead to me.

I have a little button on my remote labeled "Skip" that jumps forward exactly 30 seconds.
I didn't use it on election night, of course, even in the wee hours of the morning. By around 2:00 a.m., Juan Williams--as Fox's version of Hillary's Chief Apologist and Excuse Maker (CAEM)--actually became downright hilarious. To try to explain what was happening, he began to grab at straws so tiny and so thinly and randomly placed that I actually laughed out loud.
I'm sure that was mainly the sleep deprivation....

I very seldom watch news shows, with the exception of local news mostly for weather info ( I haven't seen them spin that into a left wing realm yet) But no, I don't record them. I have been able to tune out most left wing diatribes, usually within the first sentence or two (if they are capable of forming two sentences in a row) I may watch Hannity, but unless there is breaking news I am interested in, I stay away. I did watch several new outlets during the election results just for the laugh factor, as they fell all over themselves trying to figure out how they were so wrong. Along with watching the Hitlery supporters crying.
Very seldom does anything the left says, bother me anymore. Maybe I'm just jaded, or have gotten to the point that I find them so pathetic, that I look at them like sad clowns. JMHO

I don't typically record news channels. I deal with it by either muting them, pausing while I go have a smoke and then FF when I get back or just change the channel.

When I occasionally record a news show, I usually skip ahead whenever someone fails to answer a question, regardless of what side of the aisle they're spinning.
I only watch O'Riley for the Water's World segment, usually afterword via online video.
Bill is a bloviator. It's a wonder he doesn't explode from all that gas.

No doubt O. can be very, very annoying, but he doesn't let lefties off the hook very often and that I like.
"Water's World" ought to have his very own separate show.
The host is smart, funny and witty as heck.

Hey, I'm an avid reader.
That said: I love watching television. It's good for you.
"Chopped" anyone?
I really enjoy 'foodie' shows and sometimes learn some cooking tips. (that I generously pass on to SWMBO)

While I too try to limit my political viewing I do like to stay abreast of the overall jest of current events as I think we need to keep reminded of just what we as responsible gun owners are up against and to never let our guard down.
