I have a Norinco SKS. It is a factory /26\ and is in the 24 million serial number range which makes it a 1980 manufacture. I love shooting mine.
For the factory /26\ rifles you can supposedly date it by taking the first digit of the serial number (for 7 digit #'s) or the first 2 digits (for 8 digit #'s) and add 1956. So for a 24 million series like mine 1956 + 24 = 1980.
If you're standing still, you're loosing.

I'm not interested in selling any at this point, especially the Marlin because it's just so fun to shoot, lightweight, and small.
OK, $175! .....no, $180!!!!

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Nice!

As B. says, that's a good looking SKS.

It's hard to tell from a photo, but it looks like you might have gotten a really nice deal there.

Thanks for sharing those.

Nice additions. I too have an M&P 15 Sport II on layaway for the same reason, but I wanted one anyway regardless. The election was simply an excuse to go ahead and get my first personal AR.
