not poo-pooing it out of hand but it looks like a possible finger biter (where the grip edge is against the magazine). I would also say as a conceal carry gun, it takes the debate about "one in the chamber" to a whole new level.

Waiting to hear some ideas that others might come up with for a niche it fills. I am open.

It is pretty cool, but I feel its solving a problem that just doesnt exist. If the goal is to get a small weapon, I think the market pretty much has that under control. But still a cool idea. Thanks for sharing, I had no idea such a thing existed.

I don't want to CC a gun I need to assemble. Might be handy as a survival gun for hiking or something where minimum size & weight are more important than ease of deployment, I guess.

This kind of logic will NOT be tolerated around here! :-)

Although I will admit a wish to take this the other direction. I'd like a 17 slide on my 26 lower. Nice sight radius, small handle above my belt. The product shown kind of does this but with the added bonus of a really compromised grip and a need to assemble. I also assume that it comes with a belt clip because I can't imagine that bad boy in a holster or IWB.

I believe someone is thinking pocket carry for this setup, hence the comparison in size to a cell phone that many throw into a pocket these days.

It's an interesting idea, and it would certainly beat not having a gun at all. However, it seems to me that most self defense situations happen very quickly. I carry with a round in the chamber because I'm afraid I would not have time to rack the slide. I'm certainly not going to put myself in the position of having to get that thing out of my pocket, pull the mag out, insert the mag, and rack the slide before being able to use my weapon. If I need deep concealment, I would far rather carry my LCP and a spare mag. I can deploy it quicker, have almost as many rounds, and be far more concealed. That thing may be just a bit bigger than that cell phone from that angle, but it's way thicker. As others have said, this is a solution to a nonexistent problem.

Even as some sort of hide out gun, I'd rather have a standard designed pistol.
