Sako deserves this scope....
Burris XTR II? If the reticle isn't unique, it's pretty rare; can't be many others like it.

I like it so far, I may consider another XTR-2 5-25x50 or same for my Tikka if I sell the Bushnell Elite 6500.

Beiruty,

Gorgeous rifle and optic.

Question: Is 8 the magnification and 40 MM the size of the objective lens or ...?

Thanks!

Minimum magnification is 8X
Maximum magnification is 40X
Objective lens is 50mm
Body Tube is 34mm

I just came from the range. This scope is as good as my $3500 IOR Valdada Crusader 5.7-40X56mm
Burris is as clear as the Valdada all the way to 40X however,
I think Valada has better low light performance
minimum focus for the Burris is 50 yard and IOR has minimum of 7 yards!
Turrets on the Burris are amazing and 0 zero and zero stop is easy setup

Boresighting with min 50 yards focus was challenging, ballistic software with near zero came to help.
The rifle has almost no recoil that you can feel, no need for Muzzle Brake.

I will post first target shortly, for now it is promising.

Not that crazy accurate but not bad for the first range trip. I was struggling with the low light at the indoor range.
Next handloads, 5rds each, and this time, I will go with COAL of 2.600"
35.50gr
35.70gr
36.00gr
36.20gr
36.50gr

A fine investment -- especially since you can claim the adoption tax credit :)
