Much talking head commentary on Fox this afternoon. The "experts" from the dems staunchly support the sterling, forceful, leadership actions of President Obama. The Republicans basically downplay it and almost laugh: "Look; President Obama, John Kerry, Putin, and about 464 million Americans and Russians know that this is a meaningless action. The 35 diplomats have to be out of town by noon tomorrow, but things will change in 22 days."

Hopefully the juveniles occupying the Oval Office will not escalate this any further.

it's starting to look like it, isn't it?

was there ever any proof offered that they actually did it? if so, I missed it.
the lefts own statements prove its a lie.
hacking an election is done for what reason? to change the vote so a particular candidate can win for whatever desired reason.
How can that be done? Only two ways.
1. remove votes cast for a candidate opposed to the desired winner.
2. change the count of the votes in favor of the desired winner.

The left claims the election was hacked by the russians in favor of Trump. So here is the question:

The left claims Trump is not a legitimate president since the red queen won the popular vote. According to the left since the red queen won the popular vote she is the legitimate winner regardless of what the electoral college vote was.
It is documented the red queen won the popular vote.

The question is, if the russians hacked the election in favor of Trump as is claimed, how did the red queen win the popular vote?
answer: the claim of both is a self-contradictory lie. It is impossible for the russians to "hack" an election in favor of Trump winning and the red queen still win the popular vote.

Otherwise, what exactly did the russians do to "hack" the election?
answer: nothing, it is a lie.

that is why there's been no evidence to back up the claim brought forth, there is none because it didnt happen.
Just as when "global warming" no longer worked for them once the temperatures were obviously colder and they changed it to "climate change" - thus the word "hacking" has now been changed to "influenced" or "interference."
And you must disregard the "influence and interference" Obama conducted in the Israel Presidential elections.

Obama is keeping the Russian narrative alive. Trump will have to reverse this. When he does, the never-Trump people will hold it aloft as proof of collusion between Trump and Russia.
This was done with forethought.

Yep, looks like Obama is stuck with Trump as president, so he is doing whatever he can to delegitimize him and make the transition as difficult as possible. :banghead:

These are the same commies who spent the entire cold war kissing soviet shoes, and all of the sudden they are ready for war with Russia (when they say hacking is an act of war...).

This just goes to show what many of us have thought for some time - that the globalist left in America is a bigger threat to this country at this time than Russia, China, or the terrorists.

In fact, I hope we can establish a better relationship with Russia, because in the long run, we do not want them teaming up with China against us (any more than they already have). China is actively working towards, and has a better chance of, challenging our position as global superpower; Russia just doesn't have the means to do it. Therefore, I think it is in our interests to have better relations with Russia, rather than push them into the arms of China as our current "leadership" has been doing.

Granted this is all manipulative, but I still don't trust our elections.

In every election I request the chance to examine a specimen ballot as required by State election law. I am always denied.

Everybody has heard the truism, Garbage In, Garbage Out. In the case of electronic ballots in Texas, there is no way to examine what garbage goes in. The electronic ballots are read by single-source, vendor-supplied software. They are in a proprietary format that election officials are kept from knowing. In the case of electronic ballots, your election clerk can't recognize a valid ballot if he sees one, outside of the limited view afforded by proxy of proprietary software.

That worries me. Unfortunately, only nutcases like Jill Stein claim to care. if her brains were dynamite, as my Dad used to say, she'd be hard pressed to blow her nose, and I don't think she has the sense to care about elections, either. She's just grandstanding.

I believe I could attack our current voting systems. Naturally, I wouldn't. I'm certain Putin could, and I don't think he shares my respect for free and honest elections.

Stein is a schill for Hitlery, there was no reason for her campaign to call for a recount she wasn't a factor. This whole Russian hacking is a distraction to prevent people from understanding that people within the DNC were responsible for leaking Hitlery's people emails. There is no evidence to support the fact that even if the Russians hacked anything, they were able to influence the outcome. BHO is just putting up a smokescreen, and trying to draw attention away from his successor who will totally remove any influence he has had for the past 8 years.
The MSM still can't get it, they were complaining today that Trump hasn't met with BHO security advisors, not realizing that he has no respect for them and is smarter than all of them combined.

Can't the Russians just wait it out in a " sanctuary city"? :evil2:

OK, so BHO wants to punish everybody who unfairly influenced the electorate. Sounds good. I fully expect his next targets to be the following:

1 - TMZ for leaking an audiotape that was intended to be private and which was unflattering to one of the candidates.

2 - Donna Brazille for tipping one of the candidates off about a debate question, before the debate.

3 - That same candidate for not only accepting the tip off, but then acting like she had never heard the question before the debate.

4 - 99% of all "reporters" for abandoning any sense of journalistic ethics and showing naked bias in their "reporting".

I'm waiting for sanctions on all of the above. Surely it won't take Barry very long now, will it?

I'm sure they seriously considered Chicago and Rahm Emanuel's offer of sanctuary, but probably decided the cost of armored vehicles, heavily armed security squads, and hardened residential security to be greater than a short, three-week winter respite in the Caribbean.

BTW, during the short Christmas weekend, tough-gun-law Chicago saw 61 shootings and 11 deaths; for the week in progress, 12/25 through 12/31, the tally so far is 45 shot, 10 killed; year-to-date, 3,646 shot, 708 killed.

Soccerdad1995 wins the internet tonight.

I'm sure we all could add one or two items to his list. But after all, what difference, at this point, does it make?
