We are saddened to hear that Richard “Mack” Machowicz has passed away after a long battle with cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2015.

Richard “Mack” Machowicz was a fan favorite on the shows “Deadliest Warrior” and “Future Weapons.” Richard was the host of “Future Weapons” on Discovery. Before he began spending his time on television, he spent 10 years serving as a U.S. Navy SEAL.
RIP Mack.

I watched many of those episodes.

BTW, I thought there already was a thread going about his passing.

If there is, I didn't see it. I didn't even know he was sick. I enjoyed the show too. Too bad he's gone, but it sounds like he also had a full and active life. He died young (51), but he packed a lot of living into those years.

I may have gotten mixed up with FB. That's not good.

Man, that is one cool "door opener". Then you just continue to use your weapon like nothing ever happened. Nice.
