Has anyone tried one of these? I know they are rated to handle .22LR, and it would be great to shoot in my backyard, but I am a bit leery.

Re: Bullet Box
Full Armor Firearms in Houston has (or did the last time I was there) something like this. They demonstrate suppressed .22's inside with them.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

Re: Bullet Box
I have one. My chief complaint is that the bullet splatter shreds your target. Never had the splatter come out and hit me, but it bounces out enough to slowly shred the target from the inside out. I started taping the target to cardboard and them mounting that to the clip, it helps some. Other than they work great.

Do you live within city limits? IOW, can you legally shoot, even into a bullet box, on your property when not in self defense?Soccerdad1995 wrote:Has anyone tried one of these? I know they are rated to handle .22LR, and it would be great to shoot in my backyard, but I am a bit leery.

I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
