Trying to figure out the legal basis for them going after them ? I mean, I know jackbooted government thugs don't always play by rules or use some really strong mental gymnastics for their case. I guess I'm missing something as it sounds like they were just selling car parts ?
ATF won a case against SIG's naked noise-suppressor fixed barrel extension. It did not reduce noise-by even 0db, it was ruled as readily modified to be a noise-suppressor by the end-user.

What does that mean if I have a hacksaw and a rifle? :rules:

This company seems to believe that intent doesnt come up until you start drilling holes. https://www.solventtrap.net/solvent-tra ... -legality/

I'll be waiting until the HPA passes, or until I get a stamp before I purchase either a commercial one, or a kit to make one myself.

It doesn't make sense to me but I'm not going to be the first one going to court over this, just because I was trying to save $200. I've neve hired a lawyer but I'm sure it costs more than $200...........

I hope the hearing protection act passes and we can go back to buying these for $20 or less on Amazon.
