Regardless of your politics, it's disheartening when one LEO dept won't even honor the request of another....
It would be different if they just processed the guy on the original charge and he bonded out- but the fact that it was specifically requested that they advise before release (so ICE could take him back into custody) as he was a known gang member and hard criminal.

I can't wait until Denver PD needs help and (name the agency) ignores them. I bet Denver will cry foul.

I doubt the family of the victim shares the pride in being a sanctuary city, that the mayor was gloating about.
