Thanks guys. I'm home now. The experience, as predicted by several of you, was not bad. There was very little pain, just a bit of discomfort.

I can't wear my glasses with this big patch on my right eye, so I'm not going to be on any more tonight. We'll see how it goes after my post op appointment tomorrow.

Thanks again and I appreciate all the support

I''m back from the doctor and so far everything is going well. I don't have any real pain, just a bit of soreness and a tiny amount of swelling around my eye.

My eye doesn't focus well yet. That will take time. I will say the difference in brightness, is astounding. It''s a lot like wearing glasses with the right lens clean and the left lens covered in fingerprints.

I have three different eye drops to use, at least until I see the doctor again next Friday.

So far I am very pleased. Even with the lack of clear focus, it's a great improvement. Time should do the rest.
