I sent my sp101 to Gemini Customs yesterday

Post by Tim the Teacher »

Well, I saved enough money to have the sp101 worked on. I have seen a few posted on this board and they really impressed me. I am having the gun bead blasted along with the other stuff in the stainless steel package but I am not having it hydra ported. I decided to have him serrate the top of the barrel and slab side it also. If I can come up with some extra money I would also like the trigger guard skeletonized. I have a set of patterned finger checkered grips from Eagle out of the first batch of the new production model on order to complete the package. It's sort of like waiting for Christmas

May I ask where you're having it done?

EDIT: Geez...I'm retarded. It's in the title. Nevermind. Congratuations though!

Tim the Teacher,

I too own a stock SP101 S.S. (spurless) but, I don't have any idea as to what you're talking about having done.

Would you please elaborate?

Thanks!

O.K., thanks.

I understand the common sense stuff.

Terms like crown barrel or slab side are greek to me, but I'll trudge on.

Chamfer?

I'll do some research.
