I just got 500 rounds of Federal American Eagle 230gr FMJ from Palmetto State Armory for $154. Prices are pretty good right now.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

If you are in the Houston area, Orr Tactical is in Needville and seems to make good ammo. I have had good experience with it. Better than some S&B ammo I have. I had a squib round in my rifle carbine with that ammo earlier this year.
